The Acres Home Chamber for Business and Economic Development, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Since founded in 1994, the organization has become recognized as a cornerstone within the community providing leadership, as well as personal and professional development opportunities to small businesses, entrepreneurs and the community. Our mission is accomplished by providing small businesses, entrepreneurs, and our community with programs, seminars, and workshops in business and professional development, leadership and team building, educational and financial literacy, as well as the creation of collaborative outreach efforts with a specific emphasis on promoting economic growth opportunities and community partnerships.

Aknew Approach, Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to provide services and resources to youth and families that have been directly and/or indirectly impacted by the Criminal Justice System.
Bencheri educational center
Founded in 2014 by Willie E. Hubbard Brooks, BenCheri Educational Center aims to support families and youth in the underserved, disadvantaged, underrepresented community of Acres Home and surrounding areas by providing in-school, after-school and tutoring, Summer Youth Programs, mentoring, career development, employ interns at our facility and provide resources to help with (SEL) social emotional learning skills and other educational services based on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) .The BenCheri team includes educators, business leaders, and community members with a shared vision of improving educational deficiencies among the youth.

NEO Special initiatives are based on a combination of community input, outdoor education techniques, the latest research in nature immersion, and hands-on learning experiences. Their mission is to help people of all ages and backgrounds lead more outdoor-oriented lives for better health, happiness, and life balance.
Healthy Outdoor Communities is a groundbreaking initiative that promotes equitable access to nature and green space as an equalizer in the fight against health disparities in urban communities. This collaborative program combines the strengths of community members with the resources of local nonprofits, parks departments, healthcare providers, libraries, multi-service centers, schools, higher education institutions, faith centers, and other neighborhood organizations.
